Referral code · what the offer actually delivers
A neutral explainer on how a referral code is supposed to work, what the offer typically delivers, and what to verify before you share one. The principle is the same as the offer page — read the terms, do not trust the banner.
The standard framework
1. The referrer
The existing user shares a unique code or link. The code is usually tied to the user’s account and can be shared with multiple new users.
2. The referee
The new user enters the code at sign-up or at the first deposit. The bonus is usually credited after a minimum deposit or after the first contest entry.
3. The trigger
The bonus is usually triggered by a specific action — first deposit of a minimum amount, first contest entry, or KYC completion.
4. The bonus
The bonus is usually a deposit match, a contest entry, or a fixed cash credit. The terms page on the platform shows the exact value.
5. The rollover
Most bonuses carry a rollover requirement. The number is on the platform’s terms page, not on the marketing banner.
6. The expiry
Referral bonuses usually expire within 30–90 days of credit. The expiry is on the platform’s terms page.
The five-field check
| Field | What to look for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Eligibility | New user only, or also existing? Which state? | Terms page |
| Trigger | First deposit, first contest, KYC? | Terms page |
| Bonus value | Deposit match, fixed credit, contest entry? | Terms page · banner |
| Rollover | How many times the bonus is played through? | Terms page |
| Expiry | How long the bonus is valid for? | Terms page · account |
What changes when a code is shared publicly
Public codes may be capped
Most platforms cap the number of referees a single referrer can claim. Once the cap is reached, the bonus may not credit even if the referee enters the code.
Public codes may be time-bound
A code shared on social media is often time-bound. The expiry is on the platform’s terms page, not on the social post.
Public codes are a common phishing path
Phishing campaigns use shared codes as a lure. Match the code to the platform’s official terms before you enter it.
Why we do not run a referral programme
We do not own or operate a fantasy platform, and we do not run a referral programme. The page explains how the standard framework works so readers can verify the offer themselves. The platform’s own official terms page is the source of truth.
What readers ask about referral codes
Can a single user use their own code?
No. A referrer and a referee must be different accounts. Self-referral is explicitly disallowed in the platform’s terms, and any attempt may result in bonus forfeiture.
What if the bonus did not credit?
Check the trigger (first deposit, KYC, contest entry) and the eligibility (new user, state). If the trigger and eligibility are met, contact the platform’s customer care with the code and the trigger confirmation.
What about expired codes?
An expired code may still be visible in the app, but the bonus will not credit. Match the code to the platform’s current terms page.
